Buying a printer cartridge? Check the exact model first
Before buying a cartridge, check your printer's exact model number on its label. Cartridges fit specific models, and printers with similar numbers can need different cartridges.
- Find the model on the front or on the label at the back or under the lid.
- Send a photo of that label when you ask for a cartridge.
- Don't go by the brand alone. Same brand does not mean same cartridge.
From our shop: a customer asked for a cartridge for one HP model, and the one in stock was for a model with almost the same number. It would not have fit.
